I would find an actual doctor next time
As others have stated ... didn't really care for her. She seemed not to be interested in why I came She did to blood work, but took vacation and never heard back from her until 7 months later when her office realized my blood work was not normal. So had to be referred to hematologist. Next time I will only see a Doctor. Not a PA.

Please, give yourself a favor, look for another endocrinologist. She's not an endocrinologist because she look more confusing when I know more about my condition than this Dr. She asked me why I was there if I can't take my medication, because allergic reactions I told her because i should have at least to send me an ultrasound on my neck just to be sure I don't have any inside nodules. She said, I didn't feel any on your neck!! ??what?! Right away I thought, she's not an endocrinologist. So, give me a favor, go and shop around for another "endo" there's none here at Ochsner at this time! Also, she seems kind of no confident in her answers when you ask anything. I'm very knowledgeable of my condition because I research about it. I try to educate myself before i see any doctor, because that way I don't get fooled with a bunch of medications that you don't need!

Does not do anything but refer to other doctors
Had several in person and telehealth visits and she asks questions and her answer is always that's interesting and I'm going to refer you to __. I have gone to the other disciplines and after they put me through a battery of testing always say you need to see an endocrinologist. Literally all of the other specialists have said that. Yes, I have told her they all told me to see an endocrinologist hoping she would do something more than refer me out. I am currently in process of finding another endocrinologist on my insurance so I can leave her 'care'.

I saw her out of nesscessity after my actual Endocrinologist moved away. Her communication and people skills are horrible. She preceded to treat me as if I were stupid and had no understanding of my own condition (type 1 diabetes). She actually gave me incorrect information, and ignored most of the things I said, and was unable to form coherent enough sentences to be able to help us communicate with each other effectively.In the end I wasn't able to voice my concerns to her (which I waited a year to do so), and she changed things in my chart which misrepresent my diagnosis. It was a stressful visit and I left feeling hopeless and on my own with my disease.

Poor patient care
I traveled an hour from Kenner to see her because I really liked her predecessor, and I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic issues. After checking in and paying the copay and waiting in an empty waiting room for 10 minutes, someone from her office comes and tells me I will have to reschedule because I was late. I informed her I traveled an hour and the issues, and all she said was sorry. Needless to say, I will not be going back!

Ms. Juneau was wonderful to me! She spent time with me and went over each and every one of my medicines. She ordered bloodwork for the next day and she called with my results the following day. Everything was in a timely manner. She then adjusted my medicines with a great outcome. I was in Europe after one visit and she could not get me on the phone so she texted me. I texted back to find that I needed to lower another medication. I felt very comfortable with her.

Patient-physician communication is an integral part of clinical practice. Poor communication is one of the leading causes of preventable deaths. When test are performed, every patient deserves the results to being communicated. Deficient communication, second hand through nurses, delayed appointments or even no information given at all, result in undesired results for the patient and the medical organization.
