Listened, reviewed history, provided correct medication

I started seeing Angela Callaway in spring of 2024. I was able to find the right combination of medications that helped dig me out of depression and help manage my, at times, debilitating ADHD symptoms. Angela made me feel heard and really took all of my concerns into consideration. This was my first time seeking medical help for my symptoms and I had an amazing journey thanks to Angela's help. She really took the time to explain my diagnoses and treatment options, I felt informed and involved in my care. I absolutely recommend her, she is a highly compassionate provider and you can tell she really takes the time to get to know her clients based on my experience with her.

She was so wonderful. She was great addressing everything I needed to talk about. I really felt heard and like she understood me.

Angela Callaway is horrible! She never listened to me for 2 years. I told her so many times, I have ADHD and she just decided I didn’t have it based on nothing. She never tested me. She just decided I had it and also decided I was bipolar. I am not and it shows her incompetence. I have never been manic or hypo manic in my life and the fact she never tested me and just decided I had it is SCARY. When I told her I didn’t have it and explained I never was manic or hypo manic, she backtracked and said I had a mood disorder. The fact she quickly backtracked shows she knows NOTHING. I finally had enough and got frustrated with her and told her she wasn’t listening to me and she got mad that I was mad at her. After that session, I went to a new person and they tested me and now I’m on ADHD meds. My life has improved SIGNIFICANTLY because of this and the thing that hurts the most is I could have improved TWO YEARS AGO, if she would’ve just listened to me. NEVER GO TO THIS WOMAN!

I have been in therapy for over 35 years and suffer from depression, adhd and bipolar type 2 disorder...after many many years of trying literally every anti-depressant available I had arrived at a combination of medications that actually helped me to function normally for a majority of the time...after my previous therapist retired I was assigned to angela...on our very first session, without listening to my history and the rationale for the medications I was on she completely dismantled my meds protocol simply because she disagreed with them...she has caused me tremendous psychological trauma due to her severe level of incompetence in this field...she is a danger to her patients and is actually causing harm rather than adhering to the primary ethos of doing none...if you are reading this and considering her as a therapist l...do not walk...run...she is only concerned with her own twisted agenda at the expense of the mental health of her patients...you've been warned

Angela callaway: She doesn’t listen. She is domineering, thinks she knows what’s best after your first session, even though I have been in the same meds for years, and it’s working, I’m in my 40s, I know my body, I’ve played the med game before, trying to figure out the right cocktail of medications that work for me long ago. I had to switch psychiatric people due to insurance changes-she refused to hold space for anything I was saying, would change the subject when I tried to go through my history. A total Karen. Almost as if she is on a power trip. I explained I read many reviews, none of which are positive about her, and she told me it was hear-say. What person would take the time to write out a bad review if it wasn’t accurate- much less MANY bad reviews. She is DANGEROUS. Her decisions don’t effect her, they hurt the CLIENT. she got livid when I mentioned the reviews, and essentially talked about herself most of the session, got defensive. This woman is toxic. BEWARE.
