She extremely thorough and cares deeply about her patients.

This has been my eye doctor for years. As a public health professional that has been working insane hours for the past year and a half due to COVID, I have had to put off my own health needs, and eye care was one of them. Now that my eye issue has worsened over the past two months, I was finally able to make a Saturday appointment and drove 3.5 hours from Washington DC for my appointment, but Dr. Patel refused to see me after arriving late due to unavoidable traffic. She had zero flexibility and even though I’m a regular, long time patient of hers and traveled all morning to make this extremely necessary appointment for an urgent eye issue, she still denied me medical care. The customer service and assistance I received were disgraceful and abhorrent and Dr. Patel should be ashamed of the service provided and the lack of professional courtesy shown by her and her staff. So, in summary, I spent 7 hours driving round trip on one of my two days off from work just to be denied care.
