Proven wrong
Dr. Hempel assessed my son in the early stages of his epilepsy diagnosis and suggested he would probably never get to college level courses. Well, she was wrong. My son has almost two years of college credits under his belt and more to come. My point in reviewing Hempel, is to take her “advice” and diagnosis as a challenge and not the final word. She devastated our family at the time with her negative and uncaring bedside manner. I could never recommend such a doctor.
