Worst experience with a mental health professional
I don't know where to begin. I don't usually leave bad reviews because I know that everyone has bad days. However, I do not think that she should be working with people struggling with mental health conditions. Incredibly unprofessional. Ignored my concerns. Insulted me. Suggested that my lifelong struggle with mental health was caused by dehydration. Of all of the mental health professionals I have seen, she was the worst.

Overlake should be ashamed
Dr. Padilla insults, bullies and then says she isn't when called on it. Very aggressive. Does not listen. How Overlake keeps her on staff is bewildering.

Don’t understand what I need to say here.
I wouldn’t call her a bully, but did feel being contradicted a lot. There is a tense and rushed air about her that ads to feeling even more anxious.

Terrible and condescending
I went to Ann Padilla around when COVID first started. I was severely depressed and not working or going to school. She was rude and made me feel judged for being too depressed to go to school. She is incredibly condescending and overall is a difficult person to communicate with about mental health because she makes you feel judged. She kicked my mother out of the room when she was trying to advocate for me. While she may possess a degree, she certainly does not have the skills to talk to people.

Beware!
She quoted my (disgruntled) husband’s letter in her Notes, without his permission or mine—her patient! Beware of this Nurse Practitioner! Most ARNP’s are great carers and providers, but this one destroyed the trust between me and my husband.

Do not recommend
You can find far more better personable providers out there than Ann. I left a visit with her feeling like I was just judged the entire time and no psychiatrist should ever make you feel that way. I never felt seen or heard in her care. She would constantly interrupt me and acknowledge when she did but would continue talking and not let me finish. The woman should not be working with people. She is not good at it especially dealing with mental illness. Good riddance to her.

She talks down to patients, bullies, and make accusations of trying to sabotage treatment. The WORST! Avoid her, there are better providers.

Dr Padilla was confrontational and condescending as she bullied me through raising her voice while slapping paperwork on her desk as she voluntarily repeated the same question over and over. I had 2 appointments and each time I endured being treated like this. I can access my doctor’s notes which included a comment about my difficulty listening & comprehending that I was calm. This is false. She also noted that I needed information repeated several times to gain understanding. This is false. I have 2 physicians that I have seen for years and they both disagree with these accounts. I strongly do not recommend this provider.

This woman appeared to be inept, defensive and disheveled. Her diagnosis cost me a good paying job and has thrown my life into turmoil. Avoid at all costs.

I went to see Ann Padilla for meds for my ADHD. I have a hard time opening up to psychiatrists or anyone in that field. I was very comfortable talking to her and would highly recommend her. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I am going back to see her for another reason outside of my ADHD. I give her a solid 5 stars out of 5. She was also knowledgeable of my other health issues. She is definitely worth seeing. I choose to go to her even though she is far from where I live. That says alot about her!!
