Anne Nedelka, LPC

Anne is truly one of the most helpful, genuine, and caring LPC I have worked with. She is so well rounded in how she communicates and does her practice. I immediately knew I was safe with her, and whatever I discussed with her. When I needed advice or just some perspective she always knew the right thing to say, and she gave me the right tools that actually transformed me into who I am today. She was able to guide me and give me these tools because she understood who I wanted to be, I just did not know how to get there. I have been seeing Anne for almost 3 years now, and she is absolutely one of the main reasons I am happy, and why I enjoy life again. She has helped me grow and learn so much about myself as a person, and she has believed in me since day 1. Having someone believe in me, when I couldn't believe in myself was absolutely one of the most impactful moments that really is what started my journey, and gave me the ability to believe in myself.

I can honestly say if it was not for Anne I would not be alive today. There were 2 other counselors before Anne and they did absolutely nothing to help me. She taught me life skills, how to deal with situations/my emotions, and difficult people in my life. Not once was I ever invalidated or judged. She is a down to business counselor yet she has a compassionate side. If you are able to get an appointment with her...TAKE IT!!!

I have struggled with anxiety, panic, and depression for a while. After feeling emotionally, mentally, and physically overwhelmed, I found comfort through hard work and the compassion and guidance of Anne Nedelka. Anne is incredibly helpful and very empathetic to my problems. I never felt any judgment from her. She is an excellent listener. Through her guidance, I navigated through my life issues. I started seeing Anne during a crisis in my life. I had been confronted by my daughter about how my marriage problems had affected her and her sister, and that I had shared with her things that a parent shouldn't have. I was devastated to learn how my actions had hurt them. All I could do at the time was see the past and ruminate on it and it was unbearable. Anne helped me to learn to focus on the present. Staying in the moment. "We don't deal with only if and we don't deal with what ifs" because we have no control over them, we deal with now and how to move on from here. Anne would keep me on track and shared a great deal of resources with me. Her disposition, her counseling style made me feel heard and safe. Our sessions were where I needed to be and I gained perspective and a direction that I needed to pursue to improve my relationship with my girls, my husband and with myself. I highly recommend Anne and am so grateful for her guidance.

Anne is a thoughtful and supportive counselor. She has helped my teen daughter work through some challenges. In addition she helped our entire family work through significant grief with the loss of our close family members. She listens and provides a number of helpful approaches to handle your feelings.

I'm a service related disabled veteran who came to Anne two years ago with anxiety, stress and sleep disorder issues. Anne is encouraging, non-judgmental, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. She helped me get a service dog, I'm doing really well now and I highly recommend her.

I have been going to Anne Nedelka for counseling for two and a half years and it was the best decision I have made in my life. I was struggling with eating disorders, mostly bulimia, for over a year and had lost a brother to cancer when I was 12. Even though Anne does have a concentration in eating disorders, she is so knowledgeable and has so much experience that she was able to help me do a complete 180 in just a little over 2 years. She is so empathetic, honest yet compassionate, and unjudgemental which creates a safe space where you feel comfortable talking about even the "ugly" stuff. She has provided me with so many tools to help my mind body and soul heal and grow. I was able to reprogram my subconscious and discover the core of my problems and not just address the surface level issues. I highly recommend Anne and am so grateful for her working with me and healing me these past couple of years.
