Annie Cawthon doesn't try to prove her competence like some NPs I've seen - she doesn't have to. It just shows in the things she says and the knowledge she demonstrates. She is thorough in her explanations and gives them in a way that is easy to understand. She takes as much time as you need and you don't feel at all rushed. I've seen her three times now, and have found her to be extraordinarily caring, knowledgeable and competent - and she's one of the most likable people I've ever met.
