I would recommend April to anyone. I connected with her in a way I never had with any previous therapist and she really helped me during a period of transition, growth and change. I had to relocate and am no longer her client, but she was, and continues to be a solid, stabilizing force in my life. I went to her office for help and I feel like I came away from her sessions with a better lease on things. I'll always be grateful for that.

I would never ever recommend April to anyone. I feel like I need therapy to recover from her therapy as I was left feeling utterly invalidated. Please look elsewhere. April, I would suggest listening to your clients and not just focusing on your “end goal”.

April is an amazing therapist! She uses a wide variety of psychotherapies and tools to really personalize every client's session. April always provided a calm, judgement free atmosphere and I looked forward to our sessions every week because I always felt best after an hour in her office.

I worked with April for two years after being in therapy off an on for 8 years. I've never had a therapist that works so hard at understanding me individually, and I can honestly say she saved my life by providing crisis intervention when I needed it. April always goes the extra mile to help her clients and will stop at nothing to ensure they find what works for them in therapy. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a therapist because she is so versatile and can help anyone.

She is very intense and I did not find her very likeable. Her approach leaves much to be desired, after a brief one session intake, she started me working on a work book in her office (reading it while she did whatever else), and then discussed it for a few minutes.
