Dr. Ariana Tart-Zelvin, PHD

Dr. Tart-Zelvin may be a good psychologist for someone, but not for me and I would not recommend her. She did some tests and claimed her diagnosis was "evidence-based", but when I asked about confounding factors, she couldn't think outside the box of her testing regime. Another psychologist looked at her report and had a completely different analysis. Maybe she was going through a rough time in her life, but Dr. Tart-Zelvin had completely misdiagnosed me and sent me on a wild goose chase. Her dismissals of my questions at the time made me feel impertinent and as if she thought I was being arrogant or rude. I didn't want her to think I was challenging her expertise, so I stopped asking questions. I could tell she was trying and she did spend a good amount of time with me. But, in the end, I couldn't work with her.
