Dr. Ghassemi is an excellent psychologist. She is very professional, insightful and compassionate. I have never received this type of support through difficult times, and her honesty and support has me on a positive path to healing. I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Ghassemi. .

Worst person ever. Save yourself and run away from her.

Stay away from this woman. Whether you do individual or family therapy this woman leaves you with more damage. If you see her for couples counseling she will deliberately take sides, is bias, will set individual sessions then break confidentiality and tell the other what each had to say about each other. She will become a middle person and relay messages instead of working on the couple together on their communication skills. She will make judgmental/bad comments and say it to you, in the session or behind your back to your partner. You think you would see a therapist to make a situation better for you and give you tools but this woman will do the opposite. She sets her appts virtually, which is fine, but while on video with her you can clearly see she is also doing something else on another tab, she will be working on and send you your superbill while you are in the middle of session. Her poor ethics, unprofessionalism and breaking trust will leave you with so much harm. Stay away!
