Dr. Arnold Shienvold, PHD

VERY very expensive like tens of thousands of dollars, charges 4 times hourly rate what I have been charged, opinion is slanted towards whoever pays more highly biased. Given multiple very bad outcomes solely depending on his decisions he should Not be dealing with the custody cases. Just stay away he is not worth the heartache nor is he any good. Do your research!

Dr. Arnold Sheinvold was thorough and discerning. I was concerned about our custody evaluation because of these online reviews. I am writing this review to counter the extreme reviews on this site. I am a single mother of 3 teens. My ex paid the majority of the costs. The evaluation took a little over six months. Dr. Sheinvold recommended the current custody arrangement that is already in place. His custody evaluation report was fair and insightful. If you use Dr. Sheinvold for your custody evaluation, I suggest going to each meeting with factual notes which can be backed by written documentation that support what you are sharing. He is a great listener, takes a lot of notes, and asks really good questions. I would caution those who are reading these reviews to know that perhaps the horrible reviews are a reflection of the writers. If you are dramatic, manipulative, or vengeful, Dr. Sheinvold will note that in the report. I found his report to be a true reflection of my situation.

Due to his custody recommendation, my ex receive un supervised visits. As a direct consequence of that recommendation, my child of nine years old attempted suicide AFTER my son was emotionally abused for several years. Directly after my ex received the unsupervised visits, my ex repeatedly and continuously filed CPS reports (30) and PFA's against me(9). They were all vacated dismissed and unfounded. He failed to perform a psychological on my ex- ONLY me of course- well that came out 100% normal. My ex has a series of serious psychological disorders. It's all provable. I did get sole legal custody after I went to court and proved him wrong. Providers like this should be barred from practice all together if they cannot perform their obligations. When a child attempt suicide because of their needlesful neglectful work, it's time for a change in authority. My case made case law a few years ago- and I finally beat this disgraceful dr whose recommendation nearly killed my child!

He is corrupted, women hater

Something is not right with this practice. I suspect he is in his own denial and has a hidden something of his own to make such incredibly poor evaluations and judgements on multiple cases that I've been made aware of by other women including my own. When people are in denial it's like they're protecting their own self. For both Shienvold's to help mothers they have to admit and break their own denial and they're not going to do that so they're going to side with the sick people supporting

Dr Shienvold is the worst. My husband had to use him while going through his divorce. His wife had all the money so he slanted towards her. Then when I wanted to move with my husband, he filed a report that favored my ex because he had the most money. He has ruined two families. He doesnt' give a crap about what's right, only about what lines his pocket book. This man doesn't even deserve a license. Him and Janine Turgeon are the worst of Dauphin County.
