absolutely awful experience and waist of my money and time. my husband and I just moved to yuma and wanted to get our backs cracked for the first time. I have pretty bad sciatica and I’m also 8 weeks pregnant so we did our research before booking. On their website it says they offer maternal chiropractic. This place was also the most cost efficient when it came to consultation price ($80) and then later visits ($50). after arriving for our appointment we filled out maybe 3 papers each and were taken back and asked our hight and weight and also our BP was taken. I guess that was the consultation since we weren’t actually asked personally about our areas of concern. My husband went first where he was asked to lay on the bed and the chiropractor was “adjusting” the bed by having it fall in certain places. He then proceeded to pull out a massage gun and massage my husbands back for maybe 5 minutes. After that he had him sit in a chair and cracked his neck. And that was it it took maybe 8 m

Mejia chiropractic was previously my chiropractor back in 2006, I stopped going because services were no longer needed. Come 2019, I called to make an appointment, I spoke to Dr. Art, he scheduled an appointment for me for 5/13/19. Come 5/13, I cancelled my appointment that morning because the night before I had an emergency gallbladder removal. A month later, I called to make an appointment, it was set for 6/18 by Elena. As I arrived, Elena could not find my appointment. Dr. Art, stepped out of his office and informed me that he took me off the schedule for not being an established patient because I hadn't been there since 2006 and to go find chiropractic care elsewhere and walks away. The way he approached me and talked to me made me feel horrible, he was outright unprofessional, arrogant and immature to act that way. This is true reflection of his abilities. He is not a "Dr" anymore, maybe he should get of this business and leave it to the professionals. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!

Dr. Art is one of the most caring and honest individuals I have ever met. He has been my chiropractor for 10+ years. The first time I visited him, he did not schedule me to come back every other day for weeks, as some other chiropractors in Yuma do. He schedules you when he feels it is appropriate, you can always call and make an appointment if you need one faster than your originally scheduled appointment. I think you will be pleased with he & his staff.
