Dr Welch's care, communication, and guidance for of all my medical treatments and surgery was the BRIGHTEST SPOT in all my medical care over the last 5 years since being injured. It's a real shame that Yale doesn't assign him a professional gatekeeper- his current Medical Assistant has the compassion and customer service skills of a lazy, smug DMV clerk... who has better things to do than helping you. The manner in which they might be treated by his Assistant would be my ONLY referral concern.
