Ashley refused to fill a prescription for hormone replacement medication that a patient had been stable on for years with multiple in-house lab draws indicating severe chronic clinical deficiencies. Ashley offered to prescribe the young woman anxiety medication to curb the side effects of low hormone levels, which the patient refused. The provider then offered alternative anxiety medications and also suggested starting anti-depressant therapy. The patient was an otherwise healthy young woman who had a change of insurance due to COVID and simply needed the long time prescription filled by the new clinic, but was denied, and wrongfully so. “Ashley provided some the most lackluster and disrespectful treatment that I have personally ever received in my lifetime. She was absolutely out of line.”
