Terrible communication skills and mocking tone
Telehealth
On my first visit, instead of doing a patient intake questionnaire at the beginning of the session, she waited until we were 20 mins into what I thought was the session--then, when I was in the middle of crying and responding to her question, she suddenly asked if I had any health issues. I asked if she was going to acknowledge anything I just told her or that I was crying and she said, 'I see that you are crying' but that she has to fill out the form. I told her she could have acknowledged my response to her questions or that I was crying, and she then did so in a sort of mocking manner to 'appease' me. Furthermore, I was simply explaining that some of my relationships were changing in my life and that I was experiencing some sadness about it, but that I wanted to exercise my coping skills which is why I was coming to therapy--I was NOT blaming anyone for my problems. She then proceeded to say I had a 'victimhood attitude.' She also visibly rolled her eyes about something I said.

Throughout my time with Audrey Levy I have been able to create a safe and comfortable space to seek self-improvement. That foundation has been the most important thing for me as I have struggled with feeling closed off with previous therapists.
