Pushy, Inappropriate, and Retaliatory
Telehealth
Aviva Epstein provided deeply disrespectful and inappropriate care. I initially sought treatment for health concerns. She repeatedly pushed SSRIs despite my clear refusals, insisting they were 'not addictive.' I finally agreed to a low dose, only for my condition to worsen. When I reported this, she insisted I needed a higher dose, this only made things worse.Aviva pried into my personal relationships, being negative and casting doubt on my engagement and tried to make me feel bad about not wanting a friendship with a past partner anymore. Her invasive comments felt pathologizing and inappropriate. When I discontinued care due to discomfort, she retaliated by disclosing my private health information to that same past partner—an egregious breach of trust and confidentiality. I felt like she didn't actually want to provide 'care', but rather try to control my life, for some reason.Be cautious. She is coercive, dismissive, and dangerously intrusive.

Telehealth
Aviva is kind, understanding & knowledgable. She's a pro at what she does, listening carefully to her patients & their needs. She's always been very accommodating with scheduling & has gone out of her way to make time for me. I'm really glad I found her & thankful for her support during a trying time. Highly recommend her!
