I was skeptical at first due to the mixed reviews, but I had an excellent experience. The wait time was minimal, and as a new patient, she took the time to go over my previous medical history with me. Ms. Urena answered all my questions and gave me some great suggestions as well. The office was clean and the staff friendly.

My mother and I have been seeing Ms. Urena for a long time. She listens and takes her time to explain everything and is very gentle. She always returns my calls.

She was my Gyn for a while but I noticed she wouldn’t listen to any of my concerns about my body. I understand you have a medical degree but you have to listen to your patients. As soon as I noticed I kept repeating myself & she wasn’t listening to me or any of my concerns I immediately changed her to another gyn. Another thing she rushes you out the room don’t even take the time to see what is the issue. We need to do better in the medical field this is people lives you are dealing with & health concerns.

Great example when not to judge by ratings. I’m so glad I took the chance with PA Urena. I moved to NY recently with a lot of gynecological problems and needed to find a gyno asap. The staff was very friendly. PA Urena took her time to review all my records with me, listened to all my concerns and was very thorough and gentle! So relieved I found her. Would definitely recommend.

I went to my first appointment with Dr. Urena even after reading the reviews and was very weary but she was very kind, patient, her bedside manner was on point. She made sure all my questions was answered and I left feeling good. Everything you would want in a Gynecologist. Will definitely be coming back

I don't even know what to say about these positive reviews because it does not even remotely reflect my experience. She was rude, abrupt, and did not listen. I went to her on an emergency basis after my regular OB/GYN was not available. The appointment was short because she decided upon seeing me what my issue was (she was wrong), prescribed meds that I knew from experience exacerbate my symptoms (it did), and didn't give me the opportunity to speak. I felt judged and angry and immediately scheduled another appointment with my regular OB/GYN who was definitely worth the wait. I definitely DO NOT recommend.

I read the reviews and I was already feeling uneasy about my visit. I stuck with the appointment because it's recommended to see a doctor as soon a you find out you're pregnant. I went for my first prenatal visit and she was really cold. I felt like she was generalizing me based on previous patients with her responses. I also felt like I was bothering her with my questions. It's my first pregnancy so I was a bit nervous and she made me feel really uncomfortable. I'm so happy she'd not my OBGYN. If you don't want to help people, why be a doctor? I would never recommend anyone see her.

Totally fine for a yearly check up/pap smear. No issues whatsoever. She listened to everything I had to say and didn't try to rush the appointment. She also asked several times if I had any questions or anything in particular that needed addressing.

She is a very kind and thorough GYN. I didn’t feel rushed, which I liked.

I went in for one thing and she tested for another. She was very non personable and aggressive.

She is a hands on doctor, she's patient, caring and sits and listens to her patients. She makes you feel important. She never rushes you, or acts like shes working on an assembly line. A wonderful person and human being.
