Seeing Barbara as an adult was the worst experience I’ve had at a therapist. She never put me first as her client and would put my moms needs before my own. She would even meet with my mom when I was not present and not aware of it. My mom is very manipulative and abusive and even through me expressing that to Barbara, she could seem to care less, she even would still talk to my mom like a friend while I was expressing how much my mom hurt me. I’m so glad I’ll never have to see her again. My experience with her was horrible.
