Barb is an absolute gift to all those who are willing to consider being vulnerable in her care. She bleeds passion for helping people, she constantly grows in her field, and she is a tremendous warm and caring person. Truly, my appointments with her were the best hours of my month. I left lighter, enlightened, and well equipped to be a better version of myself. Interesting story: I was referred to her by someone in her field who told me, “if you really want to find out who you are (at 35 yrs old!), then I have someone for you.”Meanwhile, I thought I was doin alright in life! Married, successful, etc. But I made the call. A few months later, I was amazed at the level of understanding about myself that Barb had journeyed with me towards. It was thrilling to see how my dysfunctional childhood, despite my efforts to “overcome,” continued to shape me subconsciously. Barb has been a phenomenal therapist. She provided the safe and warm environment that I needed to ultimately learn to trust (actually she is the first person I have ever allowed myself to trust) her and myself.
