Benedicta Olagbegi, FNP

On 09/02/2022, I went to the Urgent Care at FHC Specialty Center in Munster, IN and Dr. Olagbegi was assigned to see me. I have no problem with her personally and she resolved my medical problem completely. But when I saw the completed claim on my insurance website, they said that I still owed $10.00 for my copay. My Urgent Care copay is contracted at $35.00 not $45.00. My insurance stated that the billing was sent as if I was an established patient of Dr. Olagbegi and saw her in her office and should have been billed as an Urgent Care visit instead. After contacting the Billing department at FHC, they resolved by stating that the billing was correct because Dr. Olagbegi is a specialist. I countered that they had simply input the wrong code for the visit and was told that was how the doctor had sent the billing to them and their decision was final.
