I had a quick evaluation for what sort of mental health services would be good for me, and when she asked a standard question about relationships she said “with boys or girls.” It was small but I felt very seen. My mom doesn’t think bisexuality is real, so it’s just nice to be validated like that. We didn’t even talk about my sexuality during the session, so leaving same gender relations as a possibility without knowing whether or not I was LGBTQ+ made me feel normal. Anyways, she was very nice and tolerated how slow I am at answering questions about what I think, and how often my answer was “I don’t know.” So if anyone reading this review is worried about how she may react to indecisiveness, don’t worry about it.
