Belittling
I have had significant health issues with multiple myeloma and a trematic brain injury. My oncologist asked me to see a gastro doctor. We called to schedule and got in for a 11:15 appointment. We asked if we would make my 12:50 appt for an EEG test. They said no problem. After an hour we were still not seen. She comes in and was very belittling to me and asked if we wanted to talk 20 minutes and come back next week. We wanted to start the talk and come back. Then she said no just make an appointment next week. She was very robotic and said we were being angry. We were upset but never raised our voice. She had absolutely no empathy and was very degrading and made me feel so insecure. She made me feel so small. It was a terrible experience.
