Beverly Cleff, APN

My experience with Dr. Cleff has been positive. She is the type of therapist who allows the patient to work through issues rather than handing them solutions. I have chronic PTSD due to prolonged childhood abuse and neglect. Dr. Cleff has been very patient with me as I have worked through anger and distrust and anxiety. I highly recommend her unless you just want someone to tell you what to do or want a quick fix. She is there for the long haul, as personal change takes effort and time.

I have been seeing Dr. Cleff for over three years now and it is incredibly refreshing to have a provider not only acknowledge that you know your internal feelings best but allows an unmuted environment. Dr. Cleff has helped me work through some of the most difficult times in my life but will not sugar coat things and for that I would recommend her any day. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder for half of my life and having a provider acknowledge that I am fully aware of my situation feelings versus imbalanced and uncontrolled emotions. She is very reassuring and allows comedy throughout sessions and does not entirely push to force you out of your comfort zone unless that is what you are trying to accomplish. She is highly experienced with those with personality disorders and incredibly accepting of defense mechanisms. If you are looking for a provider to help first put you at ease she is your go to. Just as any provider check with your insurance, no medical treatments are free

I saw this person for a few months and did not find the sessions very helpful. I was in an abusive marriage at that time and she didn’t seem to take what I was telling her seriously. She actually said, “I always tell clients, don’t be afraid of your husband! I mean maybe if you’re married to Charles Manson!” She had a session with both of us and had me leave the room while they talked, which violated any trust in her. She talked a lot about herself, but wasn’t helpful to me.

I have been seeing Dr.Cleff for just over 8 months. She is wonderful. Very kind and nonjudgmental.

My experiences with Dr. Cleff are positive. I have seen her four times and she is consistently helpful with medication management and has helped me sort through problems with the pharmacy and insurance. She is straightforward but also personable, qualities that I appreciate in a doctor. She is accessible, (no long wait times on the phone), and was able to see me for my first appointment within a week of me calling. I would recommend Dr. Beverly Cleff to a friend.

I have been seeing Dr. Beverly Cleff approximately 2x per month for a couple of years, on and off. She is excellent in adult individual therapy - I am a professional female mid 40's with no kids. She has helped me through divorce, remarriage, work/life balance issues and career changes, learning how to set boundaries and drug addiction of a step child, which has been a strain on my husband and myself. Beverly has a direct style, is humorous, uses real examples and brings immediate solutions.

I didn't find sessions all that helpful. She lowered all of my med dosages, then changed my medications completely with poor effect. I finally got back on what has worked in the past. She charges $100 if you forget your appointment-even the first time and there is no phone call to remind you of any upcoming appointments. She sent an unitemised bill, only to my email address, a day AFTER the due date of the bill and threatened to submit it to collections if it wasn't paid within 2 weeks.
