She was racially insensitive. I’ve had a few appointments with her and she was always sarcastic, and would gaslight me. I had an unrelated medical emergency that I went to the hospital for, she found out and she tried to tell me that I was faking and basically forcing myself to have those symptoms. Even though she is not a doctor and my issues were unrelated to my psychiatric care. There was a lot of micro aggression in our appointments, she would constantly say things like shes surprised that I’m literate. There was another appointment where I feel my sexuality was being disrespected and disregarded. There were many times throughout my appointments that she will ask me a question, I would answer it and then she would immediately reiterate what I said into something completely different. There was an appointment where I had talked about having a cultural identity crisis and her response was to tell that she is better than me, and majority of the people of my ethnicity.
