Brandee Burley

I saw this PA after I had been seen in the ED for over 7 weeks of diarrhea with 15 lbs weight loss. The ED had done labs, an abdominal CT, urine and could not identify anything specific. This PA did not listen to me and said it was probably gastroenteritis and recommended Benefiber. I went home and was so distressed I sent a message to the practice asking for them to order some more labs to rule out EPI, which they did. Seven days later an RN from the practice called and told me that the lab came back positive for EPI with a count of 94 which is in the critical level. I was started on a medicine that I found I was allergic to. I finally had an answer but I do not think I would have gotten one if I hadn't asked for the labs to be done.

Excellent experience. Brandee went over all the the test results and explained what each test looked for and found. Pleasant to work with. Appreciate her care.

My husband saw Brandee twice recently after the office went through changes & his usual person had left. She did not follow up with his blood work like she said she would, until he was in the office for his follow up and she realized the results weren't there. She was supposed to call him a week earlier after reviewing them. Then she was supposed to schedule another test for him to make sure nothing serious was going on, but 3 weeks later that test still has not been scheduled.
