Dr. Branden Shaffer, OD

Dr. Shaffer is one of the most caring and intelligent doctors I have visited. He took the time to listen to my concerns, completed a thorough evaluation, and discussed treatment options. The clinic was busy, but he did not rush the appointment at all! He was very kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends.

Dr Shaffer seemed completely unknowledgeable about post surgery conditions. Claimed he never heard specific terms before. Was unable to provide any positive information on conditions left by surgery and how to treat them. Went to a different optometrist who spotted issues right away and was able to provide treatment. Not sure why this person is even in practice. Seems completely in the dark about eyes and anything related to eyes. His primary answer to questions asked: 'I don't know' or 'I've never hear about that before'. Felt like visit was a complete waste of my time.

Dr. Branden Shaffer takes his time with patients to ensure they get the best care possible. You can tell he treats his patients as if they were his own family. I would recommend any of my friends or family to see him at Eye Surgeons of Indiana!

Was supposed to have post-op appointment, but he was far too bust after a 40-minute wait.pretty typical of this place I was told by nurses..if you elect to go here, plan to wait for a long time, and then physician who sees you - hopefully not Huseman - wi rush the appointment and tell you, you’ll see better in a few weeks. I saw better before ever stepping foot into this place.
