Dr. Brandi Hathorne, OD

I have been calling off and on since December, to schedule an eye exam, it is now March. No one ever answers the phone. It doesn't even allow you to leave a message. I do not like the idea of finding a new doctor, but I refuse to go there in person just to schedule an exam.

I have used Dr. Hathrone for several years and I have always been treated with respect and kindness. She is a wonderful caring professional who strives to make you feel comfortable. She allows options and pathways for treatments that provide optimal benefits for her clients.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Hathorne for many years. PRO: She is very thorough and we really appreciate the service she provides us. CON: You cannot schedule an appointment online. You are directed to call the office but the phone is constantly giving a busy signal. Repeatedly. You end up going back to work and forgetting to keep trying. They office closes at 5pm. There are no evening or weekend appointments.

When I made the appointment Dr Hawthorne was scheduled out two months. No problem I completely understand. Unfortunately a week before my appointment I found out my mother was not doing well and I would need to travel out of state and would not be able to make my appointment. I called and explained my situation and was told all they could do was reschedule me. I asked if there was a wait list for cancellations and they said it was 2: people long. At 4:40 they called and left a message stating the could fit me in on Saturday. I didn’t get the message until after their office closed at 5:00pm. I started calling as soon as their office opened the following day repeatedly only to get a constant busy signal. It took an hour to get through and by the time I did they had already given the appointment to someone else. Wow. I was told they only held the appointment for me for 20 minutes. Thank you for your lack of compassion for my family emergency and for adding insult to injury
