I had a disappointing experience. Despite explaining I’ve been dealing with foot and leg locking up for a significant period and highlighting my history of systemic conditions to both nurse and PA (autoimmune diseases, arthritis, osteopenia, deg. Joint disease, neurological diseases, lumbar spondylosis, Spondylolysis, Multiple vertebral T2 hyperintense foci, radiculopathy, etc.). I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. He did not want to review any records I brought with me. The recommendations given were treatments I had already tried (shoe inserts, do physical therapy, etc.), and there was a strong reluctance to explore alternative possibilities (nerve testing, MRI, etc.). Was not given any help. Additionally, the PA did not thoroughly examine my leg pain that extends up my leg to my tibia and fibula. When I raised the possibility of foot drop, my concerns were dismissed without further exploration. I do not feel confident recommending this department based on this experience.
