Significant Life Changing Experience
I worked with Brian in therapy for a few years. I've tried several therapists over the years to deal with unresolved childhood sexual trauma. I was diagnosed with CPTSD a few years ago. Working with Brian helped me to finally be happy for the first time in my life. His therapy helped me to not be afraid of my emotions and to revisit some of the darkest moments of my life without so much fear.

Best money I ever spent
Telehealth
I used to be skeptical of going to therapy but after some significant changes in my life and feedback from my wife, I decided it was time. A few different friends, including a doctor friend I completely trust who saw Brian, said he is the real deal. As it turned out it was true. I felt so accepted and understood, like he really knew me. He felt like the best friend I never had, but, it was his knowledge and understanding of how humans work that was the most impressive. Ive since sent several of my friends, including couples, who've all had the same exact experience. If he has an opening, you'll feel lucky.

Great Experience
Telehealth
My partner and I were treated by Brian for couples therapy for a few years for relationship issues and what turned out to be childhood trauma related problems that were causing our distress. He was very unconditionally accepting of my partner and I. We trusted him enough to refer our adult children to him who also had the same experience.

Exceptional Therapist
Telehealth
We had a life changing, transformational experience with Brian. He was so warm, attuned and committed to helping us. His depth of experience and knowledge about trauma was remarkable. He even saw our adult children when they needed help. Would trust him completely.

Very down to earth
Brian has absolutely been the right person for all of my anxiety and depression issues. He's very attentive and is great at diving deep into the origin of issues. He is incredibly present and incredibly easy to be honest with. I've been seeing him for 5+ years and he still remembers things that I brought up about my life towards the beginning, and connects the dots impeccably to bring understanding to my thoughts and feelings. He gives me things to work on outside of therapy consistently which has been very productive.

My experience was a disaster from the first session to the last. We honestly tried to work through the process and attended multiple session, but in the end, it was a very painful and frustrating experience. He is not good at reading the room and understanding (in my opinion) the emotional dynamics. Did not seem to be open to feedback or conerns regarding sessions. Quick to judge and assign blame. Made false accusations based on incorrect assumptions, completely sabotaging my confidence. In the end, almost every session had troublesome ramifications to our marriage.

Impatient. Ill-tempered. Lacks empathy. Bad listener. Uses "you" statements by default, instead of saying what he perceives and asking questions. Not destructive, per se, but a very unfortunate waste of time and effort.

I find Brian to be very compassionate, a great listener, and very trustworthy. 15 years ago, I saw him for around two years. I gained skills that helped me get through some very tough times while living abroad with no close support network of friends. Now I am back in the area, again facing a very difficult situation at work, and have started seeing Brian again. I find our sessions immensely helpful and feel very grateful to have him as a care provider.

First time seeking counseling and unfortunately it was not a very pleasant experience. What really bothered me is that Dr. Kennedy was not empathetic. He was bored and seemed slightly annoyed that we were still going over the same issue on the second session. 20 years of scars sometimes take more than 2 hours to resolve.

This guy is a nightmare walking... he is not very smart and it shows in his ability to relate to clients. Bad provider, bad experience we would NEVER go back. "Do no harm" does not apply.
