The first few months of work were alright, small but solid progress. Then it seemed like he'd made some sort of internal decision and became antagonistic in our sessions. There were, upon reflection with other therapists, unprofessional comments made that broke the trust of the relationship. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone I know.

Brian has been a lifesaver for me. I've been through more therapists than I can remember in my life, and he is the first one who has given me any hope that I CAN overcome my issues, and I can honestly say that I feel hopeful for my future.

Brian is calming and able to reach into a person and draw them out at a pace that is right for each client - never more than the person can handle. He has good insights into the problem behind the symptoms but doesn't project an answer onto his clients. He lets them discover it for themselves and thereby owning it more. Brian is an awesome counselor.
