TERRIBLE ER DOCTOR!!
I had a terrible experience with the ER doctor during my visit. He completely dismissed my concerns and didn’t take the time to listen to my symptoms. To make matters worse, he recorded that I was 40 years old in my chart when I’m only 20! To make matters worse, he touched my back once and lifted my leg, and told me I had Sciatica without doing any type of test or further looking. It’s unacceptable for a medical professional to overlook such basic details and show such little care. I left feeling frustrated and unheard. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. I would love for Henry Ford to reach out to me about this ER doctor because he should be ashamed of how he treats people.

This man is a poor excuse of what we call a “provider.” There was absolutely nothing he did to provide any sense of comfort, well being, treatment, etc. The moment he walked in the room with his arms across his chest questioning why I am in the ER after being discharged a few days prior. After explaining how I am in an immense amount of pain, Trigeminal Neuralgia is the diagnosis, also called “the suicide disease,” due to the excruciating pain it causes, he left the room to “discuss” with others. Long story short, he offered me NOTHING. No help, never rechecked my BP (was 180/97 on arrival), never reassessed my pain, never gave me anything for pain, treated me like I was NOBODY. I can tell you, as an RN, he is what scares me about health care. I am truly scared for the vulnerable elderly or uneducated patients who are forced to receive his poor treatment. My husband and I left after being told “he had done enough” for me. Henry Ford should be ashamed to employ a man like this.

If I could write zero stars about this mid level provider, I would. Mr. Trojniak has little bedside manner, little empathy, lacks in good history taking skills and is very quickly to dismiss complaints that bring people in ED. He would be best served by going back to school to learn things he is very much lacking in his knowledge and behavior. Learning empathy, my friend, is a good start. But please don't stop there. Learn to do your history and physical exam and treat patients like family!
