Horrible Experience - 110% Do NOT Recommend
I took my 85-yo mom to the Thomasville Hospital on January 24th. She could barely walk. We were triaged immediately and placed in a room. Several Novant people visited and all were very pleasant. Bridgette Dixon came in and before she even made it to the bed stated that my mom seemed to have great mobility, and if it wasn't broken, they would refer her to her PCP. She never even got to the bed before she started making her announcement!!! She looked at my mom, asked her to lift her leg, asked where it was hurting and said she would order x-rays to see if it was broken and then left. On her way out, I asked, 'Are you the doctor?' She said, 'Well, I'm a PA, so yes.' A PA is not a doctor and should not be misrepresenting herself that way. When the x-rays were done, she came back to announce that my mom's hip wasn't broken so she was recommending that she see her PCP.....no help. My mom had to go to an urgent care to get pain relief. Horrible experience!!! How is she working???

My experience with this provider was negative. I felt a lack of compassion, sarcastic attitude and poor listener from the get-go. I expected to have a professional exchange re: my need. With the high cost of care, I expect to receive both concern and compassion. I would personally not recommend this person as a provider.
