In and out no problem. Full eye exam. Desk got the billing wrong, but not an issue, she undercharged, then i received a bill, knew that was coming. No biggie.

We were charged the full $160 for the appointment AND a co-pay — this has more to do with the incompetent receptionist.
Dr. Vegas used the refraction results from my previous ophthalmologist appointment 2 months ago and did a quick look at how my current contacts were fitting —$160 and a co-pay of $30 after paying for the full appointment cost. WTH!?!? We contacted billing today and resolved the issue — we were in fact billed incorrectly.
I had no real concerns at my visit other than needing a contact script. I did mention dry eye. She asked a few questions, but shared no resources or strategies to resolve it going forward.
Overall, she’s convenient for us here in The Woodlands. She’s kind and took the time to listen. I’m seeing an ophthalmologist for my eyes at Baylor already, so she’ll just be my contact specialist. I feel comfortable continuing to see her for that.

Dr. Vegas is a terrible dr. She makes you wait 2 hours, doesn't listen, and ignores your problem as she spends no more than mins. in the room. She doesn't even know what you came in for and ignores you when you try to tell her. Avoid the dr. She is NOT an eye dr., she just does refractions and she didn't even bother to do one on me and I had to go elsewhere.

She spent NO time explaining dry eye. She did not read tat I have dry eye only OCCASIONALLY. She depended on a resident who did not hear a word I said. VERY DIS APPOINTING. I have been gointo Baylor for many, many years. Dr. Hamill did cataract surgery recently... she n vet asked a single question. Handed me 3 pages & said”any questions”. VERY POOR CARE!t

She didn't understand what was wrong with my eye but she wanted me to try using an antibiotic to see what will happen! I believe she should have done some tests or at least consult with other doctors before "just trying" some medication on me.
