Carla Miller, FNP

Took my son to Carla Miller for a Physical, looking for a new PCP. She was absolutely amazing, took the time to get to know us. I felt very comfortable with her.

Carla possesses a rare combination of kindness, compassion, humility, fierce advocacy & an incredible breadth and depth of knowledge with an ongoing hunger to learn more. She is everything a person could want in a primary care practitioner.

Could not ask for better. She is on top of everything, always. All questions answered. My family and I love and respect her.

Carla Miller is always always double-checking looking back at your past record being very upfront about what's going on and letting you know if she needs to send for more test she has great bedside manner

I love Carla. She is extremely thorough, and doesn’t rush your appointment. She is down to earth and I always feel as if I’m talking to a friend- someone who truly cares about your well being. I try to do everything holistic if I can, and she is completely respectful of that choice and will make suggestions if she can but she also explains why modern medicine would be more beneficial if its for something that could become more serious without proper treatment. I highly suggest seeing her. I love Dr Manfield as well and the gals in the office are always so pleasant.

I had been having thyroid issues since 2018 - was even going to an endo - and Carla was the only medical professional that took me seriously and ordered more tests & biopsy of my thyroid. It was bc of her level of care, consideration, & attention to details that I was able to get diagnosed with thyroid cancer (in 2021, 3 years later than when the previous NP tested me). When I got to the office to speak with her (& ultimately get my diagnosis), she had already gotten me an appt w/an ENT surgeon AND a new endocrinologist, & had her staff send over my referrals. Carla checked in on me, followed up with me, & really just showed the compassion that you can only hope to find in any medical professional you interact with. She is very thorough in her work. She talks to you like a human & uses words that help you understand what's going on with you. I cannot praise this woman enough. She is literally the only medical professional I trust 100%. Wherever she goes, I'm following. She's incredible

Never had a problem with Carla Miller until now. Left a message (Monday) with the office, I needed a refill on my prescriptions. Office reply was we’ll get back to you in 48 hours. Called back Friday asking for a response. Office person said they’d call it right in. Went to pharmacy, nothing there. Monday, found out I had to get bloodwork done (I forgot about it) and asked them to give me one week’s of pills as I was out. Denied. We are talking about meds for depression and blood pressure. Going cold turkey on depression meds gives you extreme vertigo and blood pressure meds, well you know. As one of the first lines of the Hipocratic Oath goes: first, do no harm. This was not followed by Carla Miller as she is a nurse practitioner and not a doctor. Very disappointing.

I have had two separate appointments with Carla and both have been pleasant, productive, and adequate in addressing my needs. Great job Carla!
