Possibly saved my life
I went to icare in Monroeville PA with a terrible sore throat and many other symptoms. After testing positive for strep, Carly continued to examine me. Many doctors would have prescribed antibiotics and left it at that. Carly felt something else was going on and eventually found a peritonsillar abscess (very rare and dangerous if ruptured). She sent me straight to the ER where she called ahead I was immediately taken back by doctors. They said my case was severe and another day it would have definitely ruptured. After that happens, a multitude of issues arise and everything becomes much more dangerous. Thank you for being so thorough and possibly saving my life.
