Carly Meyer, CRNP

Carly was involved with regular check-ups for patients at the retirement community where my dad was living. His health was declining and then Covid 19 hit and we could no longer visit him. We were given updates on his decline along the way. One morning in late April, Carly called to say that dad’s test results were not good. She made the call that this was “end of life” which gave our family to opportunity to visit him - two visitors per day. She said she was afraid he might slip away before we could all see him if she didn’t make that call. She made the perfect call. He died in less then four days. It gave just enough time for all of his children to travel and say goodbye only hours before he died. Carly gave our family an incredible gift in being able to truly say goodbye to dad.
