Went to Carole as a last shot before filing for divorce. Within a few sessions, we felt much better about being able talk through problems we could only fight about before. I have recommended others to her with confidence.

Compassionate, understanding, and honest. She told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear and it gave me the nudge I needed to change my perspective. Highly recommend her and have.

Carole had a busy schedule when my ex and I visited her, so we had to schedule our first three therapy sessions over the course of two months. It was three weeks between our first couples session and my ex’s individual session. My ex and I had never seen a therapist before, so we figured this was common practice. In speaking with other therapists since that time, I have learned that it was bad practice for Carole to schedule our appointments so far apart from each other. If Carole didn’t have time in her schedule to meet with us more regularly she should have referred us elsewhere, rather than allowing us to schedule our appointments so far apart.

Carole is amazing! The tools she gives you to help you work through issues and the way she helps you understand how to use those tools is more than just helpful. It’s relationship-saving. I have seen her both alone and together with my husband. I’ve done EMDR with her and there are things I never thought I would be comfortable even thinking about ever again. Now, I have the tools to be ok with those things in my past. I would (and have) recommend Carole to any friends and family members.

Carole did not really listen to what I had to say about my situation as a victim of domestic violence. I am not so sure how much she knows about how to work with victims of DV. Her assessment on me did not reflect the facts which I related to her. I have worked with victims of DV and was a victim. I would not recommend any victims of DV to Carole.
