We will be picking up the pieces from the damage done by Caroline for years to come. My son was implanted with cochlear implants while in foster care against many of his doctors recommendations. Caroline told his foster parents not to learn sign language or teach my son any sign language because it would hurt his language development. There is no science behind this, in fact the opposite is true. My son now suffers from a serious language deprivation disorder because not only did she tell the foster parents not to learn sign language, she never connected them with a deaf mentor, and never supported the foster parent in the use of the implants. The whole business of CIs is a money making racket and she is just another cog in the wheel. Please do not let this be your only opinion if you take your child here, make sure you seek a second opinion or better yet switch providers.

My son had an ABR hearing test all went well at that appointment. She came in after the test and told me the results. She said she would get with someone in the next few days to get everything rolling for him so he can get hearing aids as soon as possible. A month went by and never heard anything so I called her and left a message to give me a call back. I called again a week later and left another message asking where my son stood on getting his hearing aids and still no call back to me about the situation. I am not happy at all that she has left my son on the back burner. Is this all about money and to see how many ABR testings that she can do? Hmmm. If you need hearing aids or cochlear implant’s for your child just be ready to wait awhile. She may forget about your child and you have to fight to get what is best for them quickly. Not at all happy
