Dr. Carrie Strompolis, DNP

Honestly, I truly wish I could have something positive to say but my experience hasn't been great working with Carrie. My initial appointment with her (2 weeks out) was canceled a week earlier and rescheduled another 6 weeks out. When I came in, she really didn't seem to care about my concerns and just dismissed them. I rarely see the dr (it was the 1st time I haf scheduled a dr. Appt in 5 years so if I am going in, it means I have a decent concern). Carrie just basicay said not to worry about my concerns anr didn't offer any advice for how to address it myself. She did reluctantly agree to ordering some blood tests but never had anyone call to follow up on the results (they were posted in my chart the same day but no notes on how to interpret them). After waiting for a week, I called the clinic and asked for someone to call me to go through the results. I arrived to my next appointment I arrived 3 minutes late (I wasn't sure where to go at the new location). I admit, I am at fault as I should have given myself more time but the receptionist checked me in, sent me upstairs, another receptionist checked me in a 2nd time, had me sit in an empty lobby, and then 15 minutes later a nurse came out to tell me Carrie won't see me because I was late. I get it, it was my responsibility to be there on time, but I would think they would be a little flexible with people who are learning a new location. I just don't get the impression that Carrie really cares about her patients. Maybe I have too high of expectations. I wad with my last doctor for 15 years and felt as if she genuinely cared about het patients. Rapport is important to me. Needless to say, I'm going to look for a different provider.
