Casey R Bowles, PA

Referred to her from Express Family Care. I was very sick the first appointment. I thought I was answering to the best of my ability. However, the next day the person I had listed as emergency contact phoned to tell me that Casey called her wanting to know if I was lying about being a Private Investigator, working through Department of Criminal Justice, FBI, etc. I found this to be totally unethical on her part. Bordering on HIPA law violation? I admit I was angry enough to contact my attorney, but did not. Two days after that visit with her I was diagnosed with a severe kidney infection and a temperature of 102.9. So I imagine I was not thinking clearly as I was so sick. I wonder why that day enough tests were not done to find out why I seemed to be lying instead of bordering on needing to be in a hospital? I returned a couple of times after that but finally stopped since it stressed me so much.

I am an established patient and She refused to see me because of my symptoms, COVID like symptoms. So, I had a rapid COVID test done, negative, and her office still refused to see me saying a lot of times rapids are wrong (per cdc with false positives) so day three and I’m sick and my primary care doc office refuses to see me. Definitely on the look for another pcp! Rude front desk lady !!

Always a comfortable and easy going experience, very easy to communicate and talk to Casey.

All of my visits have been great. Dr. Bowls takes the time to make sure you understand your meds and how thay work. There is no long wait and she always has a smile. If you're looking for a good doctor look no further.

The staff at this office is very friendly and helpful. Everything done here is completed in a timely manor. Dr. Bowles does very well breaking down and explaining everything to you when talking about your chief complaint and what your options are as far as a solution.

Casey is who I see at Lewis Gale and she is so patient. I never feel rushed and I leave with a good understanding of what her thoughts are.

If I could give her a negative stars I would. She incorrectly prescribed medication that was dangerous to take with Metformin, when informed of this her nurse called Social Services Eldercare, since refused to take it, requested a referral to a Endocrinologist, she did not offer, was told it would be months before you could get appt., got one for 3 days later. Now she WILL NOT RETURN CALLS! You aren’t that busy or important to apologize for your lack of knowledge. Formal complaint was filed with Lewis Gale and PA Medical Board. DO BETTER!

Office is friendly courteous and efficient. Ms Bowles listens, doesn’t mind questions, and educates. Electronic messages were very helpful too. Would highly recommend!

I was very happy with my visit with Casey Bowles last week. She was very professional and she seemed genuinely interested in my well being. We spent about 30 minutes talking about my medical issues and living habits. I look forward to seeing her in 3 months. Hopefully, I will have a better report to talk about.

Was great - gave us a lot of helpful information, gave us several referrals for a counselor, prescribed two different medicines. Overall very nice & was happy & eager to help fix what my husband has been going through. Thank- you Dr. Bowles!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Casey, she really cares about her patients and shows it. You know you are not just a number on a file, you know you are important to her, that you matter????

A nice surprise to find a health care professional who makes time to actually have a conversation with me! She discussed all my health concerns in "people" language, options, "what ifs" and everything related!

I have 4 foster children and 1 adopted child. I take my kids to Casey because she is very friendly, understanding, and compassionate. She takes the time to listen and then does a very thorough check to see what needs to be done to fix the problem. My kids love her and so do I. If you are looking for a doctor that actually listens to what you have to say and then takes the time to resolve the issue, then I would VERY HIGHLY recommend Casey Bowles. She is absolutely amazing!!!

This was my first visit with Casey and with Lewis Gale. The entire visit was excellent. There was no wait. I was called back as soon as I checked in. The nurse asked me questions to get my complete medical history since it was my first visit. After she left the room, Casey showed up almost immediately. She took the time to explain all the labs she wanted to run and addressed all my concerns. I have no complaints or negative comments concerning the entire visit.
