Cassie Nowak is a therapist who is genuine, professional, and she makes it easy to trust her. She knows how to tailor her approach clinically in just the right way that helps people. I appreciate that she has great integrity; she's very clear in that you always know what you're working on and can see how it's helping with tangible results. I highly recommend Cassie Nowak as a therapist for anyone who wants to improve their life.

First session, she asked me who I am. I said smart and autistic. She told me she won't give me therapy if I'm disrespectful, and make her feel un-intelligent. She urged me to leave! I was there for a crisis, living with almost-narcissitic spouse abuse. Stunned, I didn't move. She bounced up: "You're still here! Congratulations! You resolved conflict!" I joined MENSA and continued with her by masking my autism, putting on my "be submissive to a mansplaining man on a date" body language and smile, cringe-smiling each session when she mentioned my intelligence which was often. Later, she told me it wasn't because I was smart but because of the way I "scanned the office" and "many other things". She refused to clarify more and terminated therapy. The clincher: she had a "be yourself" word art over her right shoulder, and it was the word art I was frowning at. I expressed negative emotion on my face, in a crisis, under her "be yourself" sign and for this she rejected me.
