Catherine Platt, PA

What stood out and what still stands out about Catherine is her ability to listen to me, answer any questions that I bring up, and to continually confirm that all my questions are answered by asking "is there anything else? "several times before the visit is over. Catherine makes me feel like I'm her only patient even though she seems to have many; Catherine addresses me as a person, not just another patient with an appointment. Catherine by far is my favorite health care provider (PA) that I've ever had and I will feel great loss and sadness when we have to part ways. Nothing but accolades for Catherine!

I’ve been seeing Catherine for 3 years and I always dread my appointments. She seems like she is always talking down to me. She also cuts off my sentences by interrupting. I like to try and build a relationship with my providers and it has not worked with her. I do think she is smart and knowledgeable, but I don’t trust her and she has poor bedside manners. I hate to switch doctors, but I know there are many good doctors and providers that can offer both. I have never left a bad review on any provider but I feel it is important that others never feel the way she makes me feel at my visits and maybe some constructive criticism may help her in the future.

I recently had to change my insurance so I made appointments for Katherine to see myself and my three kids. She was fine with the kids, nothing special (wait times were very long). I had to wait six weeks for my own appointment. The appointment was cancelled day of because Katherine called in sick. I rearranged my schedule and took off work a second time to attend an appointment a few days later. I was 15 minutes late because of a flat tire on the freeway and she refused to see me. I was upset because I’d already waited so long and accommodated her last minute change and also because I have some health concerns I’m worried about and I asked for an exception to be made but after 30 minutes I was told she would not help or even take the time to speak to me in person. I was told to go to urgent care and call to reschedule. I understand she is busy but was incredibly disappointed in this lack of flexibility or understanding. This is not good patient care. I will not be returning.

Catherine is one of the best an most understanding doctors I have ever met, she saved my life.

She is simply amazing. Though my complaints had no obvious sickness, she dug deeper and found the source of my medical issues. Even though most docs would say it's all in your head.....she was thorough and was even surprised by what came back as a result of lab work. I cannot say enough of her bedside manner, ability and willingness to explain things, and follow through.

She is absolutely amazing. I love Catherine I won't go to anyone else.

She's a fantastic clinician. Never rushed and takes the time to listen and understand. Very interactive.
