Dr. Catherine Ward, PSY

She stated she would have the report ready and didn't. 3 months later when we received the report it was so full of factual mistakes that we were unable to have what we needed for the school. After not doing the work her husband than harassed us to pay the bill when he never submitted it to insurance. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

my child met with Dr. Ward on 4/10/2018 for testing. Then, we were told the results would be ready on 4/30/2018 at 9AM. we arrive at 90 Chatham Heights Road Fredericksburg, VA 22405. No one is there. No one answers the phone. We wait until 10:30AM. no one ever shows up. Others start to gather in the parking lot. Highly unprofessional office, cancelled appointment and never contacted me. They also told me they no longer would take my major insurance yet relied on an automated system to contact me that didn’t work. Filled out extensive paperwork and took the day off from work. Paper work says they charge between $65 to $400 for missed appointments, yet did they pay me? No!! Go somewhere else.

Worth waiting to meet with Dr. Ward and team. Recovering from a brain injury is difficult especially when you do not realize you have a brain injury. You know something is wrong. You turn to Mayo, Johns Hopkins, NIH and specialists with tunnel vision while one's primary care provider is concerned about labs and vitals. The testing offered by Dr. Ward and team can take hours spread over days or a few weeks. Then you wait for results. It takes time. Be patient. Your life can change forever...

Horrible experience working with Dr. Ward and her office. Office is very dysfunctional and they have no regard for their patients. I would not recommend her or her office for and treatment needs.
