Great. Very helpful with anxiety and depression

Not helpful nor supporting when working with minors. Did not understand that minors are still developing their brains, still learning, *require patience*, and was horrible in that aspect. (Took up the attitude that the parent is always right and I am wrong--claimed I was ungrateful because I was a child who criticized my upbringing for my disfunctionality in conflict aversion/lack of conflict resolution skills). Made me feel like therapy would never help me and I now consider therapy useless because I fear other therapists would be as impatient as her. Made me feel like no one would ever be willing to help me at my worst/when I struggle. Also did not understand how social, cultural isolation (and lifelong incidents of racism) added on to my disfunctionality in social interactions. She just didn't want to understand how the accumulation of all the experiences of my environment and upbringing shaped me in order to help me. Just blamed me for everything like my parents would.

I'm trying to get therapy and all she does is run over 15 minutes late, eat, and discuss her personal problems on my time.
