My go to spine guy for 5 years and he never let me down. I Trust no one but him when it comes to my spine, waiting for an appointment is never in question. Trust is huge for most patients and Chad is one you can put 120% of your trust in. He is to the point good or bad and does it with class.

Very Disappointing.
I went to Dr Swearingen as I have degenerative arthritis in my neck. He recommended a cervical steroid injection which I was told Evicore ( the company who approves or denies requests for insurance companies ) had denied. I talked to Evicore and they said Chad would have to call and have a peer to peer conversation. He never did. I filed an appeal and got it approved myself. I wanted another steroid injection and the same thing happened. He obviously does not want to take the time to go to bat for his patients. I was told by his assistant that Evicore has been denying these types of procedures lately. Total lie. If he didn’t feel I needed another injection he should have been honest about it and why did he bother to put the request in at all. I will not be seeing him anymore. It’s a phone call that he just didn’t want to take the time to do. Thus I sit here with pain. I am very happy with the other doctors I have worked with at TCO…Dr Fischer, hand, Dr Ash my mom’s hip, Dr Arthur.
