Chandra Brown, ARNP

First off, she has gotten married, and her last name is Stanford, now. I have been with Chandra for many years, now. She is one of the most kind & compassionate providers I have ever had. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and many medication allergies or intolerances. Never once has Chandra made my health issues feel like a burden or a problem, and I have had those issues with other providers. She is amazing at finding unique solutions to difficult problems, and willing to help in anyway she can. Chandra is truly one of the most important members of my vast medical team. If I have any issues, Chandra, or the nursing staff, make sure your problems are heard and handled the best they can, as quickly as they can. The only down side is the drive. It’s about an hour away from Des Moines. However, Chandra is worth the drive, because of how much she cares about her patients, how much time she spends making sure I am comfortable, and double checking all treatment options are being considered.

Chandra is a caring, knowledgeable professional. I am fortunate that I've been in her care for about a year. In that time I've been able to gain back some some capabilities I lost due to a back injury. She is patient and spends the necessary time in appointments to understand what I'm going through and to assess my progress. I have been treated elsewhere and always felt like I was just a number. I'm very glad to be treated now by Chandra, who genuinely cares about how I'm doing. I highly recommend her.
