Charlene spent 30 years serving the LGBT with low cost and sometimes free services in the San Diego. She always took calls late into the night to help her patients and went out of her way to support the community she held so dear. Even from her hospital bed, she insisted she be wheeled outside to participate in the Pride parade as she had done every year for most of her adult life. Due to a stroke, Charlene has retired.
