Appropriate for DBT; Not for Marriage counseling
Chuck is a strong believer in DBT and consequently, will not spend the time working with you on your own specific issues. My wife and I made the mistake of going to him for marriage counseling. My wife's position on my health issues: I will only do what you tell me to do. Chuck's advice: listen to her. No searching for common ground or compromise. Just a quick out for him and nothing new for us. Our relationship is still paying the price for it.

He forgot about my first appointment and didn't show up then blamed it on him being too busy and overwhelmed. terrible first impression and will not return.
