One star because the front office staff is nice but overall this practice has no clue what functional medicine is. First red flag is when the doctor advised me to get a second opinion from an endocrinologist. Why in the world would I do that. I left western medicine ideology to go the holistic route. 2nd red flag is when the PA asked me to show him studies to support the information I was telling him. I shouldn’t tell you that extremely low iron affects your T3 numbers or that T3 medication will suppress your T4 numbers. I shouldn’t have to tell him that lab ranges followed by western medicine practitioners aren’t optimal ranges for patients. In my opinion, he is not knowledgeable enough or capable to deal with patients that have autoimmune diseases. But then again he is a PA and not a doctor. There’s no difference between this facility and a regular PCP. You can have your pcp run the same labs that shows what vitamins your deficient in, dose your medication and tell you to eat glu
