The office is your first clue this team is focused on wellness first and foremost. They are always crowded and that is okay with them. They are there to help you get better, be better and stay better. They listen, they check carefully, be prepared for extensive blood work to see the real story and be open and honest about how you are feeling and what your needs are. They will follow up, but they are super busy so don't be bashful about stopping by or calling with a question or concern. I am blessed to be in good health and find a team to help me stay that way. They are going to focus on the whole you and guide you in all areas by encouraging you to take an active role in your wellbeing. I have been a patient for several years and thanks to Dr. Joiner and her network of helpers, I am in much better condition today that when I first showed up. Dr Joyner is the smartest person I’ve ever met. She’s also the most compassionate, patient, hard-working doctor I’ve ever had the honor of working with. I am so relieved to be back in her care. My last GP was not nearly as savvy. I plan to recommend her to everyone I know. I can’t say enough good things!!!

I was shocked and saddened to hear that she was no longer at Family Physicians of Tidewater, but did a name search to find that she is now within a mile of my job! Yay! Best doctor I’ve ever had. I hate the fact that she left Dr.Kirklands practice, she was the only reason I stayed there so long. Anyway, she is a very nice person, cares and listens. She a true people person and doesn’t put on false airs. I would highly recommend Dr. Joyner to anyone.

Mrs. Joyner was the best. I have been seeing her for about 9 years. I called this morning to make an appointment and found out she moved. I am upset that the office didn't notify me that she was no longer there. Where did she move to?

I am a former patient and just found out she is no longer with the Family Physicians of Tidewater!! I am heart broken because she was the best! She counsels you and gives you options and tells you the best course of action for "your" health. She is honest, very personable, very knowledgeable, and just great!! It's crazy to say but I would look forward to seeing her...even though she may scold me about not keeping up with my exercising that I needed to hear!! I'm so upset that no one at the doctor's office bothered to tell her patients that she is no longer there! Mrs. Joyner was a great nurse practioner for me and I wish that I could find her. I trusted her with my health!!
